Fried Mango and Banana over Oat Bran

It is as good as it sounds… Better even.

You get all of the goodness from the mango (vitamin A and vitamin C with a good dose of fibre) along with all the goodness from bananas (potassium and vitamin B6) and oats (lowers cholesterol, antioxidant properties, great for your insides), in a bowl of heaven! This is one of the quickest and easiest meals to make and it truly is divine!

Time: 5 minutesmango
Serves: 2

2 cups of Bob’s Red Mill Oat Bran (prepared to the instructions on the packet)
2 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
1 ripe mango, peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon of canola oil (or any other oil so long as it is reasonable tasteless)

Put the oat bran into bowls while you heat the oil a little in a pan and add the mango and banana. Cook until slightly brown and serve on top of the oat bran.

Enjoy and let me know how it works out for you!

It’s so good, I’ve even made a video about it. Here is a very dear friend of mine sitting with me over breakfast.

Here is another idea for oat bran… This one is with bananas fried with nutmeg… And yes, it’s really good too!
